with a silvered and enamelled cold-painted finish,
mounted on an onyx marble plinth-

This dynamic and beautiful figure has wonderful styling to her
hair and typical Lorenzl features and certainly one of his best.
She is in great condition with only the expected wear to the
metallic bronze finish.

Probably now one of the best known of the Art Deco period
sculptors,
Lorenzl is famous for his depiction of the slim boyish shape,
so desired in the 1920's, sculpting a wide range of figures
in dancing or coquettish poses. He also designed for the famous firms
of Goldscheider, Hutschenreuther and Keramos.
