A stunning and rare Art Deco spelter figure lamp, c1930,
featuring a dark gold cold-painted semi-nude,
supporting and gazing at an original alabaster globe,
on an alabaster rectangular base-
12.75in/32.5cm high to the top of the shade
14.5in/37.5cm length of the marble

This is a exceptional lamp, one of the most stylish of the period,
and purported to be "Cleopatra" by sculptor Movier.
In fabulous condition with very few marks to the figure or the base.
The shade has has the usual hardening of the alabaster at the top.
