Neils Joergen Haugesen
Born in Vivild, DK 1936
Completed cabinetmaker´s apprenticeship in 1956.
Graduated as a funiture designer from College of Arts and Crafts in 1961.
Employed by professor, architect Arne Jacobsen 1966-71.
Associated the line of furniture shape at Danish College of Art
Since 1971 own design studio, 1980-95 in partnership with Gunvor Haugesen.
ID-prize for the Haugesen table in 1986 and for X-line chair in 1987.
1st prize at Danish Forest Association´s Furniture Competition 1988.
Furniture award 1996. The States Artfund´s lifelong contribution 1998.
For Bent Krogh A/S: "Nimbus" conference table and chairs 1992,
outdoor furniture "Xylofon" 1994-97, "Fleur" chair 1998 and X-Line chair 2000.
