This lovely bronze has wonderful styling
to her hair and typical Lorenzl features,
and is in great condition with only slight wear to the finish.
Another example of this figure can be seen on the section on Lorenzl in Brain Catley's book "Art Deco and other Figures".

Probably now one of the best known of the Art Deco period
sculptors, Lorenzl is famous for his depiction of the slim boyish shape,
so desired in the 1920's, sculpting a wide range of figures
in dancing or coquettish poses, working in bronze, spelter and ceramic. He also designed for the famous firms of Goldscheider, Hutschenreuther and Keramos
