A superb and stylish large Art Deco
metal figure by Janle, circa 1920s,
depicting a "flapper" in mid Charleston-
mounted on a stepped four colour marble base-
18in/46cm high

very slight wear to the silvering and finish, some chips to the marble
base.

Not much is known about figures signed Janle
apart from the fact some of them were edited by Max Le Verrier.
This is a sculpture I have never seen before and it is exquisite
quality
with very fine casting details and superb styling.
