A rare metal figure Lamp
probably French, Paris, c 1920'sfeaturing a stylised  young woman,
dressed in classical Greek inspired outfit,
dancing and holding aloft an original blue globe.
Very probably representing Isadora Duncan

Note the exquisite detailing to  her hair and the exuberant smile on her lovely face

This figure lamp is an impressive 52 cm high with very little wear to the lovely silver and gilt finish,
mounted on a pale marble base.
She has been cleaned, wax polished and rewired (earthed).

The sculptors of this period often looked to the celebrities of this period for inspiration.
Although unsigned (many art deco sculptures are) this has the look of the work of the sculptor Molins.
