A beautiful Austrian Art nouveau
terracotta bust by Montenave designed circa 1903,
(this one possibly created 1907) edited by Frederick Goldscheider,
depicting a serene maiden,
her hair band and dress inset with glass "opal" cabochons-
49.5cm high
signed Montenave, Goldscheider tablet, impressed 2668-194-46
and painted numerals VII. Age wear to the painted finish.
This is beautiful Goldscheider bust with very delicate and fine
features.
