A rare 'Artona' sideboard in rosewood with black leather covered
drawers and cupboard doors.
Designed along with the Artona Table and the Africa chair it was also
available in walnut.
Maxalto was "born" in 1975 from a proposal by the Scarpas for a new
style of furniture in wood: all the pieces done follow their designs.
The products are all of high quality and reflect the Scarpas desire to put
traditional materials to new use with the aim of recapturing their
expressive potential.
